A full home renovation.

David and Lynn approached us in late 2021 to help them with an adaptive redesign and renovation of their newly acquired house. We could not have been more excited for the challenge of turning a neglected property into a forever, family home. In addition to an open floor plan for hosting large parties and a prominent but thoughtful location for the Christmas tree, David and Lynn desired a primary suite that would last them the rest of their lives.

With the vision set, we commenced designing a space that not only addressed their needs but also problems they weren’t yet thinking about. Upon finalizing the design, we began demolition on the existing house all the way to the studs, many of which we also replaced. Rebuilding the home from the ground up included new flooring, mechanicals, kitchen/bathroom fixtures and custom millwork inspired by the trim work we found in the original house. Today, David and Lynn have a home that functions for them and their two boys, and, of course, gives that Christmas tree top billing once a year.
